South Mechanic and Foundry Plant, LLC specializes in the production of polystyrene foam models by the autoclave method in own-production molds. Lost-foam casting technology is used for metal castings production. Raw materials are injected into the mold – bead polystyrene, then the press reform is placed in an autoclave, where the polystyrene foams and sinter, forming a model.
For single castings, including unique ones, which can’t be manufactured by other methods or it’s too expensive, the models are made of block polystyrene foam using the Thermoplotter hardware-software complex.
